What is Bull Denim? ft. RGT'S New Fabric

"Wow, I've never felt anything this soft ever!"

"What's this fabric? It's so soft!"

"Is this corduroi or something?"

These are some of the questions I get asked by my customers when they come across the new fabric option from Rogue Territory. As part of the brand's SS17, RGT introduced us all to the first exposure of Bull Denim Khaki fabric. What is it, exactly?

Essentially, think of bull denim as a regular denim that's not colour-dyed: 2x1 or 3x1 twill fabric, more or less, at its most natural stage. Just like indigo-dyed denim, bull denim is indestructible, and comes in different weight and shades of brown-ish, natural colour. Aside from being a fashion material, bull denim is also utilized in other industries like home decor, furniture manufacturing, and construction.

The same bull denim is used in the making of the Stanton - Bull Denim Khaki, except for the fact that the bull denim is brushed to achieve the ultra soft hand-feel. With the weight of 11 oz, the bull denim Stanton is super soft and yet, substantial in weight!
